Conteh,

I see you haven't snapped out of the funk and have yet to get a grip! Well,
let me make the point again. The issue here is not so much your virtues or
your relationships with the Who Is Who in Gambian politics. I couldn't care
less whether you and Jawara are intimate pals or the amount of respect the
likes of S.M. Dibba have for you. The issue here is the unproductive,
self-righteous and senseless zeal with which you now pursue the political
alliance discourse. Indeed, the object of my ridicules and reprimands was
your senseless zealotry and how it is not helping matters relating to how the
political parties back home can be persuaded into forming an alliance to help
defeat the dictatorship. As far as this remains the case, my indictments,
ridicules and or reprimands stand and i make no apologies for them.

However, if you can produce even a shred of evidence that shows an actual
attack on your person, or to stretch it, indicate where a foul word or
language was used against your person, i shan't hesitate to retract it and
offer my unreserved apologies. Until then, my indictments or reprimands and
the manner in which they were communicated stands.

You know this is not the first time i have to clip your wings when it comes
the manner in which you self-righteously accost individuals you wish to see
adopt positions you believe is the right one for them. This has the bent of a
dictator . I, for one, will never succumb to it.

All the best,

Hamjatta Kanteh
