Mo, in response to your inquiry, no, it does not disqualify any of the NADD 
executive members.  If they agree with the conditions for the interim 
period, they can be the flag bearer if chosen.  Thus, the reason why those 
that wanted to usurp power through the interim period fought for the 
condition to be removed to no avail.  Gambians do not want a King elected as 
president and Yaya shall be the last.  Anyone that tries to buck the system 
after the interim period will be in for a rude awakening and I think they 
know that by now.  A very leveled playing field is the goal of that 
condition and none that is interested in changing the system should have a 
problem with it.  The alternative for those that want a second term is to 
not put their hat in the ring in 2006, but in 2011 na beyond.  There is no 
turning back on this.
