Awa,

It would have been greater fun if Oku responded. Just wanted to point out to
him again that our medicine-men are after all, not quite as backward as we
sometimes think they are.  A neighbour here called me last night to explain
how scores(!) of West African marabouts (Gambians, Malians, and Guineans
especially) make a living in France. Unbelievable hustler tales.
