Well folks, a couple of months ago when the U-17 tournament was played in
the Gambia some among us went to bat for Yaya and the APRC, claiming that we
were trying to inject politics in sports, as we try to make our people see
what Jammeh was about with money promises all over the place. The fox kept
getting closer and gave out a million Dalasis. Then he chartered a scam to
Peru, and calculatingly leaked out his new scam of D1 mil. to each player
(18). You must give the coach, assistant coach, docs, trainers, etc.,
something. By my calculation, Yaya will lavish more that D25 million on
just the team, if they win the tournament. Then you add the penalty for the
Peru scam, the charter, lodging, and meals for his largess, and we are
talking tens of millions that alone could have bought the remaining crops of
the farmers. All of it looted by the Dix of kanilai for his personal purse.

Now the egg has dropped and FJC has foiled the plot. From patron, Yaya has
eased his way to not only be the father of the baby Scorpions, but to owing
them according to his town crier. Now who is talking politics using the
U-17? It is not NADD for sure. It is the very people we warned you about.
Now they are lying that Yaya is taking care of the youths. No, what he is
doing is using the youths as pawns to con the unsuspecting population. Put
you in a funny position where if you criticize his thievery, the naive and
willful suckers will accuse one of wishing the Baby Scorpions ill. Well,
that is not going to fly here. We can and will both support the baby
Scorpions and at the same time let the world know that we have a fool and a
criminal for a President. BBC on PBS showed a footage of our national
disgrace in Peru, last night, as the multitude disembark from the plane and
sprawn on the tarmac.

This is a lesson for our people that be mindful of what you believe. This
is just the start folks for we are going to see more bizarre setups by Yaya.
We have a boarder crisis and our business folks on the borders have seen
their livelihoods gone, but we have Yaya embark on an international abuse of
Gambians. FJC is in the Assembly, why don't they tell Gambians about the
boarder crisis they dug themselves in? Why don't they tell Gambians about
the massive unemployment in the country? Why don't she tell Gambians about
the lack of electricity, water, health care, poor education of the youth,
massive corruption, about the Central Bank heist by Yaya and Lang Conteh and
other criminal activities of his syndicate? Gambians, we should know better
and wake up. Folks to throw tissue on FJC for coming to abuse their
intelligence. Gambians have been hungry, and are hungry, and will continue
to be hungry long after the Peru tournament as long as we have these starch
heads around. The key to having mature representation is in your hands.
You can vote for voluntary servitude or progress; you can choose to vote for
criminals or straight shooters. You can listen to a snake oil sales lady or
a honest Halifa, Sidia, kemeseng, and Hamat, or you can vote with Chicken
and his brood. And so, even if one is not classroom educated, one is
worldly to know who makes them starve, uninformed, and marginalized.
Gambians young and old, male and female, schooled and and experienced have
lived under Jammeh for eleven long and hard years, thus cannot claim
ignorance of their suffering any more. Vote you conscience. Below is what
loose lips has to say.

U-17 are Jammeh’s Babies

Fatoumata Jahumpa-Ceesay, a nominated member of the National Assembly, has
attributed the roaring success of The Gambia U-17 team to the zest and
unflagging support of President Jammeh to the team.
According to her, the president’s ardour and fillip have instilled in the
boys a winning mentality. “Jammeh made the U-17,’’ she said, shortly after
The Gambia beat Qatar on Tuesday night.
Mrs Jahumpa-Ceesay argued that the incredible performance of the Baby
Scorpions has disproved the charge that President Jammeh is using the Baby
Scorpions to boost his political clout. “But I think everyone has now
realised that his patriotism was genuine and well placed. What we have so
far achieved in football has never happened before in our history,’’ she
said.
“Nobody will now ask where The Gambia is. This is the fruit of President
Jammeh’s work. We should really thank him as he has done what is really
expected of a good leader. The fact that he has also airlifted the
supporters to cheer the boys is a clear testimony of his good wish for the
team and the country,” she said.
Now that the U-17 have brought glory and pride to the country, Mrs
Jahumpa-Ceesay said with glee, Halifa Sallah who had criticised Jammeh’s
investment in the team as a political gimmick can now eat his words. “I
challenge Sallah to retract that statement. If he doesn’t, that will show
his true colours as somebody who does not have the interest of the country
at heart, especially the youth, but his selfish interest,’’ FJC said.
She therefore urged the people of Serrekunda Central, especially the youth,
not to vote for Mr Sallah in the September 29 by-elections.
“Jammeh had predicted that they would win the African championship and
proceed to the world cup finals. Now that has happened. We are all with
Jammeh and every Gambian and the Baby Scorpions have high hopes for him that
he will always lead us to victory. This traditional three goals victory that
boys have adopted is a clear indication that the APRC will become victorious
come the September 29 by-election,” she said. She called on all Gambians to
rally behind President Jammeh and support him in his quest to uplift the
image of the country.
