I knew from the onset that this so called alliance had
nothing for those party militants that worked
relentlessly for NCP. Judging from past political
alliances in the Gambia, history repeats itself. As I
mention in my previous email, NCP militants should do
their homework and revisit the DCA alliance with the
PPP. In fact, they could EVEN do themselves some MORE
favour by looking at the UP/NCP alliance set up to
contest seats in the Banjul Area. This alliance came
to end in 1991 when Jabel Sallah then MP for Banjul
South resigned to join Dr Lamin Bojang's newly founded
political party-The People's Democratic Party(PDP)

If you wonder what DCA stands for, then my brother it
means the Democratic Congress Alliance - a political
party that was merged to challenge Pierre Sarr Njie
dominance in Banjul. DCA was led by the Late JC Faye
and Ibrahim Garba Jahumpa respectively.
Lets therefore await the views of the NCP sympathisers
on the "L"
