By Our Chief National Correspondent Landing Badjie, Banjul.
Paid for and Commissioned by the Freedom Newspaper.

The Secretary of State for Tourism, Ms. Angela Colley, has now become a
thorn on the flesh of many in her line ministry. Madam SoS is accused of,
among other things, of being jet-happy as she trots the globe at the expense
of pressing home-needs. According to sources in the inner circle of the
tourism ministry, Ms. Colley is now seen in that ministry as greedy and
selfish as she gives no-one theopportunity to represent her in overseas
trips whenever the need arises.

The ministry sources hinted this paper that the situation is all the more
funny and intriguing in that Ms. Colley would always absent herself from
local tourism-related programmes whenever the need arises. "The honourable
SoS should not allow these small talks taking rounds that she give nobody
the opportunity to represent her whenever the need arises.

It's an embarrassment to hear people say that she always wait for
international engagements like a hungry predator waiting for a prey," said
our interlocutor. Many concerned individuals who spoke to this paper
enjoined Ms. Colley to moderate her 'greed and egocentrism' with common
sense. When contacted, the office of the SoS refused to facilitate our
correspondent's efforts to get the minister's account of the story but
efforts are ongoing to that effect.
