Haruna
It is the military that is strengthening dictatorship in Guinea. It they who suppress peoples power. I don't think the diaspora can do order than advocacy. The recent report of UK based International alert has dialected on how fragility of poltical system and the earlier the people act the better to avoid the country eroding into violence.

Indeed Bailo. A nation with so much to offer the rest of Africa is being
allowed to gradually degenerate into hopeless abandon. Conakry is the reserve of
African art and culture and a myriad resources to propel her to her rightful
place among the envy and inspiration of nations the world over. I look
forward to more sobriety in government. I join you in prayer for Major chief
Sampil and a more active and constructive role by diasporan guineans particularly
in the US, Canada, and France.

Haruna. Good to hear you again. Best wishes to the family.

Dear Haruna,

I was in Conakry for a week last month with some colleagues to conduct
a Due Diligence Review of the Insitution that Youssouf Sampil works for.
Youssouf was more than a host to us, he treated us like family. He is a
gentleman, a Pan-Africanist and a humanist.

I pray fro his dad's and other political prisoners freedom.

Bailo

Afp
