To Yus and the rest of the informants on the L,thanks again for keeping us
posted of the happenings back home.Not only am i appalled but completely
devastated about the recent
incident two days ago.All this is deja vue again not only to us but to the
people of the then Republic of the Gambia.I don't even know what to call it
now.I may have my head somewhere in cookoo land,but where do they stop and
once the right of a woman is violated,you take away her self
esteem,confidence and guts to stand up for what she believes in.We may have
being created less equal as it is already,but give us the respect we deserve
as we are the ones that borne you.The question i asked is WHY?.
Maybe that gang supposedly under a supervision know exactly when to strike
and watch,
there will not be a single crack in the case period.

I would first comment on the failure of tourism before
expressing my opinion on the recent thuggeries
principally directed against women because the two
issues inter relate.
The fundamental point Teja Nyang and others are
missing is that, you cannot have tourism in an
atmosphere where the government of the day neither
respect the vindication of the rule of law nor has any
sence of good governance.In this present day of
information technology,the potential tourists before
visiting the Gambia just need to click a button and
knows what`s hapening overthere.For example the
shooting of the students there were tourists in the
hotels and there governments had advice them to stay
in doors,do you think those tourists will ever come
back to the gambia.It`s anybody`s quess.What about the
daily abductions plus the countless attempted
coups.The second point ,the butcher of kanilai
appoints a half bake soldier as minister of
tourism,sells the atlantic hotel to the libyans and
named marina parade after qadafi, do you think with
the reputation of the libyans any tourist spending
money would visit the Gambia.He also doesn`t seem to
know sustainable development, how on earth can the
budget of the presidency including the presidential
guard can be more than that is invested in
tourism,it`s completely ludicrous.
On the issue of thuggery prima facie you don`t have a
police force anymore,all there powers are exercised
either by the army or the NIA couple with sheer
incompetence due to lack of training and been
completely politicised.So long as you are a supporter
of the afprc,you are virtually aboved the law.For
jemus i will not waste my time because he simply
doesn`t understand the separeration of powers and that
religion is completely out of state control.the gambia
is consist of muslims,christians,atheis or free
thinkers.democracy is the balancing of different
opinions, we must agree to disagree that`s the
essence.
Finally before concluding i will salute WAA juwara
THAT`S THE ONLY SOLUTION, PEOPLE`S POWER AFTER IVORY
COAST THE GAMBIA OUR BELOVED HOMELAND IS NEXT. SO
jemus WATCH OUT. IT`S THE BEGINING OF THE END.
