ALES is an excellent acronym to describe these 'low lifes' who feel that a
couple of additional 'generators' purchased for NAWEC is an achievement worth
bragging about. It is interesting to note that, ever since I was a kid, the
small percentage of Gambians with the privilege of some electric power have
always been led to believe that a few additional diesel generators would save
us from the constant power outages which were so accustomed to. However,
based on numerous similar past experiences, Gambians should now understand
that these highly touted purchases don't mean much. For this reason, I would
be very surprised if any well meaning Gambians buys this APRC shameless
propaganda and rubbish.

The present illegal regime is also peddling a bunch of crock with talk of
these plans to provide coverage to 90% of the country. After all, how can we
expect them to provide power to 90% of the country when they cannot even
provide constant power to the 20% or less who have the privilege of
electricity now? How can they expect anyone to take them seriously when
there no schedules or plans of how they intend to electrify the country have
been presented to our people?

KB, lets be honest here, most of what we have said here is nothing new to our
people. Anyone, who has the slightest inkling of recent Gambian history is
aware of the fact that a few additional generators have NEVER significantly
improved the power situation there.

Therefore, when people like Monsieur Directeur Generale attempt to shamefully
inundate us with these fake statistics, it goes to show how people like him
will sink to these low depths for the sake of a cushy job.

It is a damnn shame and disgrace and I do sincerely hope that we all keep
these examples in mind in an attempt to raise our children to be better human
beings than the likes of these utterly despicable and disgraceful types.
