Sang Ndow,

The North Koreans asking to speak with Bill Richardson was a major
embarassment for the Bush White House even if they downplay it and never
admit it.
The situation was worsened when Richardsons' first words to the press when he
came to address them was that
" I would first like to make it clear that I am not an envoy of the Bush
administration"

That in itself said a lot about what the North koreans think of Bush and his
war mongers.

It is also interesting how they are not so eager to go fight the North
Koreans. They have no qualms about distabilizing the Middle East so they can
take over the oil reserves because they know that the Arabs care more about
their pockets than any kind of solidarity. Just set up a puppet regime and
let them have some of the oil money, and they never look back at the rest of
their brethren, even if it obviously also means their own eventual demise.

On the other hand, destabilizing the Asian region will most likely result in
China and north Korea, possibly South Korea, joining forces to fight any
foreign invader simply because the Asians would never allow any Western power
to dominate any of them.
There si no doubt that these people will stick together if push came to
shove, no doubt at all.

South Korea has recently had some indications that they are showing sympathy
with their northern brothers because these are the same people, not to
mention the fact that the new President of South Korea is not exactly a full
fledged friend of the U.S.
There have been many demonstrations in South Korea of late against U.S forces
presence there, recently aggravated by an incident where a U.S military
tank ran over two school girls and the soldiers were freed by a military
court.
Same thing happened in Japan I believe a short while ago, when U.S soldiers
raped two girls and were also freed by a military court?
These are some of the very reasons that the U.S does not want to be signaroty
to any laws where their military will be answerable to an international court
of law.

As for the Christian religious right, they do have a friend in this
administration, and it appears that the melange is comprised of bigots who
not only want to practically bring back the Jim crow days of old and clear
the country of immigrants at the same time, but they think they can fool
monorities by using the right key words and dangling Colin Powell and Condy
Rice as their examples of how progressive the Republican party is.
Interesting how they can reconcile all of that with the teachings of Peophet
Essa (SAS) without flinching, but they do try.
