It is indeed incorrect. Pa Modou Gassama was forced to come forward by the
revelations of none other than Ebrima Ceesay. You can say that he was
"assisted" to show the courage that he is being congratulated for.

The reason Gassama came forward is because he had no other options. He became
aware, again from the revelations of Ebrima Ceesay, that even a lot of his
coworkers knew who he was. Therefore, he could not continue to hide behind
his cowardly mask.
Another reason he came forward is because it is an attempt to do what they
call SYA here. Saving your "you know what". This guy said a lot of things
about the APRC regime in his attempt to show that he is an objective person,
and now that he has been exposed, one of his tactics is to heap on the
"kissing up to Jammeh" mode in order to drown out all the things he said
about them.

Even he knows that he may be made mince meat by this great regime he has been
defending for his own personal gain. There is a person in his own self created
hell.

The questions have already been asked by others regarding some of the
allegations Gassama has made against the regime, such as Isatou Njie Saidy
ordering the shooting of the students. I wonder if he will share his insight
into this matter since he is such an objective person.

Perhaps Gassama, you can shed some valuable light into this for the Gambian
people, or do you not trust the great regime you are defending because you
know they may send the NIA to your house in the middle of the night?

A panicked reaction is what made this man come out of the shadows, and he is
nothing but a blazing coward who is trying to talk his way out of being
lynched by the people that he knows have a habit of doing just that to anyone
who dares express an opinion, yet, his own gullibility led him to the
situation he now finds himself in. What a very sad dillemma.
