President Jammeh A Serial killer?
  By Lamin Jatta

President Jammeh uncouthly remarks that he can kill 20 000 Gambians to
save 1.5 million people and still go to sleep, does not only incriminate
him in the numerous cases of unsolved murders and disappearance of
innocent Gambians and non Gambians alike under his watch , but also
suggest that he is a very violent bloodthirsty psychopath who brazenly
subscribed to the brutal assassinations all "perceived opponents."

All this overwhelming irresponsible and unbecoming character of President
Jammeh just capped my believe that this President does not just simply
have the minimum qualification to be the leader of this country in this
sophisticated era of democracy, information and globalization. President
Jammeh's lacks of education and experience required to maturely and
professionally run the presidency of a modern republic on our today's
complicated and globalized world have dragged him through senseless
squabbles with his much educated counterparts in the neighboring
countries. We can see that with all the attending suffering on the people
of the sub region and loss of revenue to the to our economy, it took him
up to three months for this slow President to realized that he was the
one at fault in the border stand off between the Gambia and Senegal. No
wonder, the President Jammeh he is, he naively thought that he could also
violate the sub regional trade treaties just like the way he does to the
constitution of the Gambia and go scot free, but he indeed received a
rude awakening smack from President Abdoulie Wade. Now that Jammeh was
shaken by the determination of the Senegalese people, who knows his next
move probably would be to allow Senegalese to dug a tunnel under Gambia
linking the Northern and Southern part of Senegal just to appease
President Wade.

President Jammeh's shallow knowledge on the norms of modern democracy and
the rule of law and constitutionalism has lingered an air of rampant and
unprecedented violation of the human rights of the peace loving citizens
of the Gambia over the past 11 years. I do not know the exact context in
which Jammeh made this unfortunate threats, but I presume that it is a
psychopath dumb response to the popular call for massive demonstration to
end this worst night mare the Gambians have to endure for the last 11
years. This president is constantly driven by whims of his ego and give
him a rope he is going to hang himself if he thinks that is going to make
him a president "forever." Deida Hydara has said on Good Morning Mr.
President on many occasions that if you cannot stand the heat then get
out of the damn burning kitchen and so buggeh akara deggah ny'e meh
kannee." You do not have to go to the extra mile to massacre 20 000
Gambians because you may as well call it a quit. President Jammeh
obviously knows Gambians have totally lost all confidence in his
leadership and he has outlived his welcome the time Gambians were able to
discern that he is just one of the many African presidents whose only
reason for illegally seizing power with a mare high school education was
for self enrichment at the expense of their poor country people.

This President's lack of good communication skills has resulted in
reckless utterance that shroud his government and people of the Gambia in
shame and fear and will surely be used against him. In our this modern
era, president Jammeh is the only president in the world who cowardly and
shamelessly threatened his country people with mass murder for daring to
disagree with his misguided policies. a crime against humanity that is
shunned by all modern people. President Jammeh's lack of knowledge on
ethics of communication coupled with his blatant refusal to be advised has
reduced him to a very idle loudmouth who drenched in tirades riddle with
insults and threats to the esteem people of the Gambia.

Mr. President enough, it's enough, we have so much innocent blood in our
land. it is heart wrenching that you do not either belief or have interest
in doing justice for all the innocents Gambians assassinated by the
marauding gun men roving freely in the streets of our country with the
blood of their victims dribbling in their hellish hand as if we live in a
country called Anarchy with complete impunity. Yet, you continue to
ghastly threaten Gambians with death. Osou Lion Njie has said Su deret
toure hammon ga ne, ne yaquo deff that as a leader, when blood is spilled
you know that you are the cause.
