Justice Sam,

I am somehow perplexed by the title of this posting refering to Sabally as
being "MIGHTY".

Sabally is far from being mighty, perhaps the word CRIMINAL  is more
fitting.

Just like the wollof saying" "SA MBANGI DOW, DU DON SA SOPE REN"  in
translation-Last Year's enemy could hardly be your admirer this year.

Afterall, is this not the same sabally who   displayed arrogance,
callousness  and known to be  notorious during the July 22nd incident in
1994 to the extent that he was detained for years, although it was never
substantiated that he attemped to overthrow the APRC government?

If I remember correctly, he was even accused of killing innocent Gambians.

Should he be considered a saint simply because he is not part of APRC now?

The last I checked both my dictionary and Thesaurus, Mighty means someone
who is powerful and momentous and I do not think either words fits him at
this present moment, and I would not wish him to be MIGHTY again, because he
is still capable of being montrous and morally deformed.

We need to stay away from somehow trying to make these same people who were
once part of a camp we vehemently criticised for the atrocities they have
helped perpetuate seem like it is OK, just because they utter opinions which
appears to be againts the status quo.

In my opinion, he deserves no attention.
