Hello everybody, could somebody help me with my research on Tayeb Salih's
story "A handful of Dates." Tayeb Salih is a Sudanese short story writer
working for BBC Arabic section. I have tried all the library resources in my
school but little or nothing at all is mentioned about his works.

My research will focus on the following: 1-A short summary of the story "A
handful of Dates", 2-a biography of the author and 3- presenting something
about the culture or the stories in a visual form. This could be a college
that represents the setting of the story, drawings that shows the characters
or the culture of the story, and a clip of a movie or video that shows the
story or the culture.

I think folks vast in Arabic literature will be very helpful. Please send me
