Matarr and others thanks for your efforts and services to our peoples. What
GESO is doing, many other Gambian organizations are also doing. It would
have been much better if we can bring all that effort under one umbrella.
However, most in our communities are not on-line and thus, the problem of
logistics. For example, many in our community are donating books, clothes,
medical products, etc., etc. The important thing is that our people are
giving back to our peoples back home. The Gambian Association in Chicago
has donated to the many floods catastrophes and are currently working on
logistics to sponsor the education five students. Most are not online and
would be reluctant to relinquish control of their humanitarian efforts to a
remote body. I am in for us to have umbrella organizations, but it seems to
me that most orgs want to direct their own efforts. I hope more people join
GESO in the future. Keep up the good work.
