Mr. Jeng:

This is not a surprise. As Auditor General, her job is to follow
professional standards promulgated by International Accounting Standards.
She has the integrity and professional skepticism to carry on her
responsibilities as an auditor. Her job is to attest to the fair
presentation of the illegal government's financial statements in conformity
with Governmental Accounting Standards.

Mrs Jallow-Gaye attests to follow accounting standards and to be fair and
consistent in fair presentation of statements. If there are
inconsistencies in internal control, review of statements and compilation
of reports, she knew she must have fair mind set in interpreting statements
of financial concern. Her job as an auditor is set to safeguard the
financial position of a government.

Unfortunately, in dictator yahya jemus's Gambia, the Accountant General is
set on a policy of dubious financial presentation in reference to material
departure from any accounting standards. Does the accountant concur with
material misstatements, when in fact this is not an error in judgment, but
a blatant violation of professional accounting standards? It is sad and
unethical for an accountant to concur with illegal acts that have material
effects on fair presentation. In fact, it is illegal to concur with even
immaterial departure from GAAP or Scope limitation. A CPA or a Chartered
Accountant is licensed to uphold the accounting profession with objectivity
and independence in mind.

This is a sad day for The Gambia. But again, the family of the oppressed
is growing day by day. Let us welcome Mrs. Fatoumata Jallow-Gaye in our
camp.

Long live democracy and down with dictator yahya jemus. Dictator yahya
jemus, let my people go.

Naohiyo,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh
