I do not receive Gambia-L mail as I used to.  I usually have to go to the
archives to read the postings and with companies clamping down on access to
listservs, it's become a bit of a challenge.  So, I apologize for the late
contribution.

We have been asked to wait until after the 40 days after which we can
proceed.  We are getting educated about the needs of the center from those
who have been intimitately involved in its running as well as identifying
those agencies that funded Satang's venture.  Funding has always been an
issue.  At present, we are trying to make sure that the basic needs of the
center are taken care of before the vultures swoop down.

Ndey or I will keep you posted about about any developments on our effort.
