Banjul

Bunja Sabally a grade ten student of Mindow Cultural senior Secondary School
in Farato has expressed concern over his educational career which he said is
in jeopardy following his suspension from school for not settling his fees.

Speaking to the Independent, desperate Bunja stated that his poor parents who
struggled to pay his fees during his Junior Secondary School course are now
old and weak and as a result they could not render any help towards his
education. He added that he had no other alternative but to declare his
situation as a destitute who has no one to help pay his fees.

'Although my family has problems with buying food but my sole concern had
always been my education and I would be very grateful to who ever can help'
said a tearful Bunja.

Bunja added that since his suspension from school , he was left wondering
whether he would soon join the rank of school drop-outs who are seen as
liabilities in society. This conditions he said make him to feel the
bitterness of life which has cost him a lot of sufferings since child
hood.Mean while any one or institution willing to come to the aid of poor
Bunja can kindly contact the Independent on 374665 ,374667 or its Kairaba
avenue office.
