Sister Ndey,
"Drinking their Ataya and accepting a ride to the polling station" is no
quarantee that anyone will vote for a particular party. That is the reason
when they buy your vote, you hand over your voter's card to them until after
election day. Another point is that those youths who concluded from the
collapse of The Grand Coalition that Jammeh would win, are more likely to
sell their votes and have perhaps two thousand Dalasis in their pockets.
This becomes all the more possible when the youth in question is unemployed.
I agree with you entirely that the way forward is for the opposition to
immediately form a strategic Alliance in connection with The National
Assembly Elections. I hope some of the mud sling we have had in cyberspace
did not take place between the two coalitions on the ground. That would make
rapprochement easier. We should all be clear about the significant role the
collapse of The Grand Coalition played in our failure at the polls. That way
we make all those who contributed towards that realize their error, then
perhaps feel some guilt and remorse, and thus be put in the right frame of
mind for reconciliation.
THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES!
Omar Joof.

>>Sidibeh,
>>There would be a good number of inconsistemcies that we in the diaspora
