Nyanchor,

You are absolutely right; it is only violence these people understand.
Yaya is trying to silence everyone. We should all be prepared for the 2006
elections, and take up arms if necessary to uphold the constitutional of
freedom of expression and the right to security for all our people, with
what ever means necessary. The assassins should realise that Gambia is too
small to hide and that we will hunt you down and prosecute you. Eventually
Yaya will accuse you of theft, like Musa Jammeh, if you refuse anytime to
carry out further illegal heinous crimes.
We should seriously think of the eventuality of Yaya losing (bound to
happen) and refusing to leave. Will we have to beg or rather plead with
him to leave (he isn’t going to) or make use of our good friends and the
members of police and armed forces on exile to ensure the winner, the
leader of the Coalition of the coming elections becomes President and to
ensure a peaceful transition?
History has shown us that great freedoms are usually born from sacrifice
of few, selfless, for that matter.
I will make a website together to gather ex force member in the diaspora
to contribute ideas to tackle this menace. The network will have to be a
close knit community. As an ex junior officer, I can only suggest and make
serious organising for lots of senior officers out there. Once again
officers and men, your country needs you!
Kejau
