Hello, Habib, Harona, and Yus. I posted a message to the American Council of the Blind's email list, asking them about colleges for the blind in the US, and if Gallaudet University was for blind as well as deaf. If anyone will know, it will be people on that list, since ACB's main office is in Washington, DC...
As far as treatment facilities go, I did not ask about that. I will ask as soon as I get a reply to the first inquiry. Usually,t he best treatment facilities for blindness are aphiliated with universities or teaching hospitals. Anyway, let me know if there is anything else you would like me to find out...
Ginny

Please do Ginny. Find out if they also have a treatment facility attached to the school.

Hello, this is something I can certainly check out, if anyone would like. I, myself, would be very interested to know if there is indeed a college for the blind in the US...

  So did I.
There must however be a school for the blind in the U.S. or Europe. If I remember correctly, there used to be one in the Lenoir Rhyne area of North Carolina.
It may be a better idea to raise funds for competent eye surgery if the damage due to injury is not irreversible.
