Wow! Nigeria indeed had something I haven't seen before and that is to
play sloppy in one half and then play like the actual African Champions
in the last half. I must concur, I've never seen a team play so poorly
in one half and then turn around and shift gears in the last half. I
don't know what their coach said in that locker room at half time, but
it had to be one heck of a speech! They were possessed! I'm sorry for
them that they lost but I never thought it would even be this close. I
would have loved to eat my own words than see Nigeria play so hard in
the second half and loose. The nice thing about their effort is that
they haven't lost completely, because the 4-3 score line qualifies them
automatically for the Sydney 2000 Olympics soccer ahead of Sweden. I am
sure they will be a much better team in Sydney.

Finally, I think its gonna be the US and Norway, and appropriately I
believe the stars and stripes will take the final victory lap:))))))))
Before wrapping up, one question to all my soccer cronies out there: WHY
IS THE US SO SUCCESSFUL IN DEVELOPING THE LADIES THAN THE GUYS???? Are
women easier to teach.....just curious!

Regards
Baboucarr Sillah
