Saiks,

Like yourself, I cannot afford time to comment respectably well on
Hamjatta's piece on MOJA-G at this point in time. I will attempt however to
cultivate some time during the coming week-end to put across a point or two
on the general questions he raised. But for the record, I think it urgent to
make an important rectification. You wrote:

"...In the second place, Sajor Jallow left Moja -G many years before the
1994 military coup and has since never been active with the movement.I could
not even remember when Ousman Manjang was lastly an active member of
Moja-G."

That Sajor Jallow left MOJA-G many years before the 1994 military coup is
simply INCORRECT.
Sajor Jallow was one of three MOJA members who travelled to Gambia from
Stockholm in early 1993 in response to Jawara's lifting of the ban on the
Movement late in 1992. In fact almost immedediately after the coup in July
1994, Sajor Jallow upon returning from yet another trip to Gambia, took the
initiative to organise a meeting in Stockholm that, as far as I am concerned
was MOJA-G's decisively final attempt at collective self-preservation.
Ousman Manjang was also pressent at this meeting.

Have a great evening.

Momodou S Sidibeh,
Stockholm/Kartong.
