Bro. Bailo,

I am sharing a short story, just a glimpse about Ms. Fatou Jaw Manneh.

It was this unforgiving winter storm in the DC down town when my eyes glanced at the person of Ms. Manneh. I saw her covered-up with reddened eyes. She was suffering from sore eyes. It was the rally demanding the release of Halifa, OJ and Hamat then, staged at the Gambian embassy and continued to the US state department. Despite her sore eyes, she was there holding a banner demanding justice and peace for her fellow Gambians. To us all, it is a true reflection of a selfless Gambian who’ve there for us calling and calling for justice, peace and unity. If on that day, some said to her, look! Fatou - next it will be your turn, one would imaginarily see her adding volume to her voice on that day, knowing the fearless nature she can possess. Now that it is her turn, that’s why the petition should be signed in numbers. Therefore, let us pass the message. I see that everyone is doing just that. You never can tell where the grease that loosens the rusty nuts is. Thanks a lot! Just my word of encouragement to everyone who didn’t know Ms. Manneh. She was there for Gambians in true spirit.

Regards,
Yero.

It's a good initiative, well done. Let's all sign the petition to send a message to the APRC dictatorship that Gambians are not as dormant as they take us to be. Let's unite in demanding the freedom of all innocent Gambians who have not been legally convicted. Bailo

You can also send the link to your friends and family members for them to sign. Every signature counts and every signature will count. Sincere gratitude goes to Momodou Camara (Denmark) for helping with the loading of the petition online, and not to forget the general media fraternity of all the online papers, blogs and forums with their prolific educators. > > > Note: The Press release is copied to other media outlets for wider publicity. > > > Regards,> Yero. > > > FREE FATOU JAW MANNEH NOW!> FREE FATOU JAW MANNEH NOW!> FREE FATOU JAW MANNEH NOW!> > > > “He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.
