Baboucarr (Blaise) Jagne, Yaya’s latest ‘rethread’ CANNOT add anything to
the foreign Ministry of The Gambia. This man like all AFPRC/APRC cronies, is
a big failure. He was a nonentity pre-1994. Was brought into prominence by
Yaya after the coup because he successfully played the PPP victim and
backstabbed former colleagues like Bolong Sonko and Omar Njie. He kissed up
to the morons in a way that is unparalleled in the miserable history of the
AFPRC/APRC. The lies he told Yaya during the early days of the coup while he
was in Yaya’s entourage traveling the globe, is legendary.

It was under his watch at the Security Council of the United Nations that
Gambia was implicated in the “Blood Diamond” saga. Knowing very well that
his boss (Yaya) and thugs like Baabaa Jobe are deeply involved in this
despicable trade, Blaise failed to present a convincing case at the United
Nations to remove Gambia from this shameful list of pariah states. At the
end of the day, all Blaise and his bosses back in Banjul could do, was shift
the blame to innocent Gambian businessmen trying to make a legitimate
living. The vermin singled out the “Sarahules” in The Gambia and say that
they were responsible for importing “Blood Diamonds” into the country.
Needless to say, the United Nations did NOT buy into this spurious
explanation. Everyone knows that Baabaa Jobe uses Yaya’s plane to engage in
these illegal trafficking. Blaise and his then Minister, Sedat Jobe failed
in their attempt to blame innocent Gambians for the illegal behavior of
Baabaa Jobe.

It was also under Blaise’s watch that Baabaa Jobe was proscribed by the
United Nations as an international criminal. Instead of Blaise and his
Minister (Sedat Jobe) advising Yaya to cut Baabaa Jobe loose, the despicable
duo succumbed to Baabaa Jobe’s thuggery and pen the most ridiculous letter
the United Nations has ever seen. I respectfully urge people to look at the
Security Council site and see the letters from Liberia (the country with the
most beef with the Security Council). Even Liberia whose President was
affected by the order of the Security Council, is more guarded than Gambia
in their dealings with the Security Council. But our morons (Blaise Jagne
and Sedat Jobe) went on the rampage and started insulting powerful countries
like Britain and United States. All for what? To please Yaya and his best
buddy, Baabaa Jobe.

It was also during Jagne’s watch in New York that Yaya was disgraced by the
MRDG(NY) and incarcerated in his hotel room for days. If Jagne CANNOT save
Yaya from those demonstrators, I wonder how the vermin is going to save Yaya
from the crowds in Banjul that are going to evict the vermin from State
House on October 19 if he steals the elections?

Jagne’s best bet would have been to reject the post and stay in New York and
declare political asylum and flee from Yaya. But the coward will NOT do
that. Instead, he will selfishly return to the country and allow himself to
drown with Yaya’s sinking boat. Why did Yaya NOT appoint his uncle, John
Bojang, to replace Sedat Jobe? After all, by AFPRC/APRC standards, John
Bojang is now a ‘seasoned diplomat’. Blaise should have suggested that to
Yaya. This is going to be Blaise’s costliest mistake. Now he has to deal
with negotiating to avoid Britain imposing a travel ban on Gambians. He also
has to explain to Gambians why it would be necessary for people to travel
all the way to Senegal to obtain British visas if Britain withdraws from The
Gambia some of their embassy personnel.
