The most reliable medium, in recent times in the Gambia, better known as "Radio Kang-Kang" has it that the APRC is about to name a new Mayor of Banjul. It is unbelievable that Jammeh and his APRC will expose their ineptitude and incompetence in this manner by suggesting an inept and incompetent person to this office. The question that most level-headed Gambians are asking is: "What is wrong with Alhaji Njie "Biri"? Biri has acted and deputized the office for many years and now some parasitic political opportunist is being ushered to be his boss. The APRC knew before the elections that Samba Faal was going to be 'made' a Secretary Of State, yet through their incompetence, no successor for the Mayoralty was named, thereby wanting to impose an undesirable and ineffectual nitwit on the people. Is this the case of just another ex-boyfriend joining the "Osusu" of our national coffer?

The citizenry of Banjul should not be cajoled to accept someone not desirable to them.

Prince
