Mr. Samateh:

I appreciate your comments. The moron is exploiting this issue at the
expense of many Jolas. I hope that we can elect a president who will make
tribalism a crime.

No political party should exploit this issue. We are one family and
politics should not be based on the language one speaks.

Naphiyo,

Comrade ML Jassey-Conteh

Mr Conteh,

Great to hear your voice again.
However I am not too sure if there is any fear in discussing the issue of
tribalism, this has long been a problem in the politics of our country.Like
religion tribalism is been used to further political interest. We know that
the claim to be a tribalism is very false,if Jammeh is Jola and favouring
the Jolas, then one will be made to believe that the Jolas are living a
better life than the rest of the Gambian people and this we know is very
false,it is no true.Any political party that aimed at taking reprisal for
something that is false must never rule that country ,any political party
that is thinking of taking reprisal against the Jolas belongs to the dusbins
of history,we do not need that party to rule our country. How many Jolas are
members of parliament. Those exploiting and oppressing our people are from
all tribes in the Gambia, the soldiers who shot at our children are from all
tribes, those religious leaders are planning to plunge our country into
religious unrest with the blessing of the state are from all tribes, those
running dogs executing the duties of the fascist states are from all
tribes, why should we then base the political problem of country to the false
charges that the Jolas are those appointed to high posts in the country and
Bla,bla,bla.
If we don't understand this fact that tribalism is false, then I am afraid
that we have a long way to go.
