If anyone wants to lend a helping hand. I think this a story worth reading
Culled From The Observer:

Aja needs urgent help for treatment

An eight-year-old girl, Aja Manneh residing in Essau in North Bank Division
is seeking urgent help from philanthropists, institutions and the general
public to help save her from paralysis.

According to her mother, one Mai Camara, Aja fell from a higher height when
she was only 6 months old which was unknown to them. She said that led to a
haunch back she now bears which has gradually grown from time to time making
breathing and eating difficult for Aja. Mai Camara added that Aja was
admitted at the Royal Victoria Hospital for three months without any
improvement in her condition as it was said the machine to operate on her
with was not available in The Gambia.

She said RVH gave her a medical report to go to Bai Nyass Hospital in
Kaolack, Senegal for the operation. Mrs Camara disclosed that she visited
the Mercy Ship crew at the independence stadium but they also said the
machine for the operation was brought during their first visit to The Gambia
but this time, they did not come with it. Mai, a widow is now looking for
financial assistance as she is said to be a widow from any individual who
can come to her aid to take Aja to Kaolack, Senegal for an operation. Any
individual or institution wishing to save Aja from being paralysis can call
the Daily Observer on 496608 or 496879.
