The first batch of pictures from the Friday demonstrations in Newyork city
can be seen at www.gambian.com. They were part of the more than 80 shot at
the rally. There were also three separate vedeo recordings and we are in the
process of consolidating them all into one produced tape that would
encapsulate the events of the day in it's entirety. We will stream the vedoe
too on the afore mentioned site once we put it all together. The idea is to
ensure that people get a thorough picture of events.Even the interviews
conducted by the reporter from GRTS which Gambians are unlikely to see would
be made available online and tapes would copied and sent to Gambia for
distribution. I also managed to get the three fellows who claimed to be Yahya
Jammeh's supporters answer a few questions on tape. Suffice to say they can
only be associated with Yahya.
