Mr. Sillah:
Thanks for the forward.  I must admit that I admire the courage shown by
journalists on the ground even in conditions such as these.  Even in these
trying times when the moral fabirc of Gambians is being decimated by the sec,
you are stillworthy of emulation.  Thanks for standing up for what is right.

This Media Bill makes me sick to my stomach for a few reasons.  Foremost
being the amount of time & energy which was obvioulsy spent on devising a
plan to muffle journalistic integrity out there, for it is amazing that with
all the issues the country is dealing with now, they chose to spend their
valuable time this way.

Second being the way it is disguised to sound legit, yet it is simply aimed
at muzzling the freedom of the press.  To me such underhandedness is morally
reprehensible and should not be expected from a decent ruling body.

I wish you guys the very best and I hope the legality of this bill can be
contested in courts.
