Mr. Kujabi,

Tombong's primary motive for posting the article on the Gambian Dalasi on
the L can best be answered by Tombong himself. I believe I said something to
that effect in my first intervention. If, in the event that he has any other
motive besides the informative aspect of the article which he culled from
the Independent newspaper, then he is better positioned to respond to your
question. My view still remains that the issues raised therein are
interesting from the point of view of illustrating the economic rationality
of the farming community. I hope that that message gets through to policy
makers everywhere.
