Subject: Do you know an organization involved in African Affairs?

We need your help. The Africa-America Institute is updating its 1999
Contact: Africa directory of organizations involved in African Affairs. Our
last edition was so popular that we sold out our entire press run of 1000.

We are now beginning work on the 2001 edition. Unlike the last edition,
which focused mainly on Washington, DC, in the new edition we will be
expanding our organizational coverage to a national level. We are seeking
your help in identifying U.S. non-profit organizations with a focus on
African Affairs (including North Africa) and/or the African Diaspora in the
United States.

Please help us identify such organizations in your city/state. All we need
at this point are names of organizations and individuals, including their
contact information, either phone or e-mail. We will then follow-up by
contacting the organization and asking them to fill-out a simple
questionnaire about how their work relates to Africa. Inclusion of an
Africa-focused organization into the directory is free.

On the other hand, if you would like your Africa-focused organization to be
included in this directory, please reply to this message and we will e-mail
you the questionnaire.

Thank you for your time and effort. If you have any questions or concerns,
please contact us at 202-667-5636 or by e-mail at:
