Thanks everyone for the many congratulations and nice
comments. But the felicitations belong to all of us.
It belongs to every single male or female who pauses
from their busy daily schedules to say a word, lift a
finger, visit a site, read a newspaper, write an
article, sign a petition, attend a demonstration, etc
... in the name of restoring democracy to our beloved
Gambia. But the fight continues... And even though
the task may sometimes feel like it is beyond us and
our numbers may dwindle at times, like I always say,
with dedication, relentless and tireless effort, hard
work, courage, and the added zeal of those who know
that theirs is a just cause, we will eventually win.

BUT THE KEY IS TO KEEP FIGHTING, NO MATTER WHAT. THE
KEY IS TO KEEP CONTRIBUTING IN EACH OF OUR SMALL WAYS.
FOR NO CONTRIBUTION IS TOO SMALL. JUST PICKING UP
THE PHONE, OR E-MAILING A FRIEND TO TELL THEM ABOUT
CERTAIN TASKS THAT THEY CAN UNDERTAKE TO HELP OUR
JOINT EFFORTS, OR TO INFORM THEM ABOUT CURRENT EVENTS
IN OUR QUEST FOR JUSTICE, IS IN ITSELF A COMMENDABLE
EFFORT. BECAUSE NON OF OUR LARGE EFFORTS CAN BE
SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT THE BACKING OF SUCH EFFORTS THAT
SOME MAY DEEM MINOR. IT IS OUR JOINT CONTRIBUTIONS,
BIG OR SMALL, THAT WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE THE MOUNTAIN
BEFORE US. SO LET US TAKE A LESSON FROM ANOTHER GROUP
OF SOCIAL LIVING ORGANISMS, "TERMITES". WHEN THEY
WANT TO DESTROY A WOODEN HOUSE, THEY DO NOT PAUSE TO
PONDER AT THE VAST SIZE ADVANTAGE THAT THE HOUSE HAS
OVER THEM. INSTEAD, THEY RELENTLESSLY JOIN TOGETHER
IN THEIR LARGE NUMBERS AND KEEP CHIPPING AWAY. AND
YES! EVENTUALLY, THAT HOUSE GETS DESTROYED.

So let us not quit too soon. For just imagine if
Nelson Mandela had quit his fight against apartheid
when the task seemed too great. The greatest justice
fighters are those, like Martin Luther King Jnr., who
know that they may not see the results of their hard
work in their life time, but that they are
contributing towards a change that will benifit future
generations, and thus they keep fighting. BUT OUR
CASE IS DIFFERENT, THE MAJORITY OF THE RESULTS WE WANT
ARE ACHIEVABLE IN A "NOT TOO LONG" TIME FRAME. SO WE
SHOULD NOT FALL BY THE WAYSIDE. LET US KEEP FIGHTING
WITH THE DEDICATION AND PATIENCE OF THOSE WHO KNOW
THAT VICTORY WILL BE THEIRS SOMEDAY.

AND LET US SPREAD THE WORD AND CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS
ATTAINING MEDICAL HELP FOR THESE VICTIMS.

=====
"NO ONE CAN MAKE YOU FEEL INFERIOR WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION"

                       ALSO

"NOTHING IS UNACHIEVABLE, THE ONLY QUESTION IS, WHETHER ONE IS WILLING TO DO WHAT IT TAKES TO ACHIEVE WHAT IS DESIRED"
