On Friday November the 3rd. I just ramble on the 31 year old /AIDS issue the
reason was to that we have to be very cautious. According to the Police press
release 8 women pointed out the 31 year old and in the Swedish TV4 news it was
said that he had sex with 20 women. The Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm said the
man knew already his status in June of 1999. Due to professional confidentiality
they cannot do anything about it unless and until he was reported to the police for
unsafe sex conduct.

My question is why is he accuse to be the caused of the chain infection. Was any of
these women tested before for antibodies if so when and where? Did the police
doctors took test of all women involved to measure their T4 cells to check the
values and scrutinise the results. To determine the incubation time to see who was
infected first. Again I am not condoning or justifying have unsafe sex after knowing
your status.

In 1980 fled many Haitians to the USA, they fled from economic disarray and
Duvaliers dictatorship. They were not very welcome to the USA. In 1982 these very
people we accused by the authorities of they thought was a new disease in the
USA AIDS. The authorities labelled them as "RISK GROUPS" for AIDS, they meant
they have to do it to get control over the new disease. Part of the American
population/society that don't like the Haitians took this is as an opportunity to
persecute them and made their life a nightmare. Children beaten at school in an
incident to death. The Haitian's shops went bankrupt, families thrown in the streets.
This doesn't only have consequence in the US but also in Haiti. Tourism went
drastically down, unemployment skyrocket poverty increases likewise AIDS.
Despite the political Climate in Haiti was not very promising , It was the AIDS
stigmatising that gave tourism a negative impact. Two years later The US, CDC
(Centre for Disease Control) stopped to refer people from Haiti and African
American as "HIGH RISK GROUPS" for AIDS. But it was tooooooooo late for the
damage was already done.

In the 80's the west launched a disrespectful accusing campaign against African
countries south of the Sahara which results to many countries denied the existence
of HIV/AIDS which resulted in a catastrophic consequence : Delayed information
and surveillance which resulted to too many a deaths.

To accuse others for a disease you don't understand, can't control, cure or afraid of
is nothing new. In 1490 when the first cases of Syphilis was registered in Europe,
The Russians accused the Polish for spreading the disease. The British and the
Turks call it the "French disease" The French then in return call it the "Italian
Diseases" Then the Italians turn and blame it to the Spaniards. The Spaniards
became furious on Colombo accusing him of bringing it from America. Interesting
enough because the place America where Colombo in his time was is Haiti today.
In 1982 , after 492 years the same country is accused again of creating the worlds
new nightmare AIDS.

Had it been known to the Europeans of the fact that in 1490 the Portuguese were
already in Africa. Then we the Africans were blamed for SYPHILIS!

The reason of my this piece is let us leave this case to rest for the MOMENT until
we have all the fact but we can of course discussed it to enlighten one another.
