Hi Pa Pierre!
Would you be kind enough to supply more information regarding the
fraud you mentioned? I am concerned being the one who submitted the
link to the list. The last thing I would want to do is lead my fellow
list members into being defrauded. I tuned into GRTS after I read your
mail and called Gambia and asked them what was showing there. It was
the news and it matched with what was being shown. I called again
moments ago to confirm and it was confirmed that a Gambia film is being
shown and it matches what I am watching. I have a satellite that shows
RTS from Senegal and I have confirmed several times that what is being
shown is live.

I subscribed before sending the link. I received my username and
password and have not had any problems. Some of my relatives and
friends who subscribed have not had any problems. I would really
appreciate it if you can supply more info. I know that they play
recorded tapes from GRTS broadcasts (mostly music) after the channel's
live broadcasts stop. Could be that?

I have searched the internet to find more info. The website is
discussed on Ghanaweb in August 2009 and the owner's telephone number
is provided. Check this link out:

Check this link out with Cameroonians discussing the site in March
2009:

Have a good night.

Subj: Fraud warning!!!!!!!!! [ TV4Africa ]

Dear Readers,

The web-base Tv4africa video content meant to distribute tv programmes
from various African countries including the Gambia, is not worth your
hard earned cash. The owners of the website have loaded outdated tv
contents fron some african countries to entice the unsuspecting web
surfers into paying a fees of 5 Euros, or so called donation. Once this
payment is made, the door to "had i known" opens. Don't ask me what
follows!

As of now, my message to you is ; "This is a gimmick". Unless your
entire ceiling is filled with cash, do not fall for this fraud. Stay
away from this site. Avoid it! One more thing, tell all your friends
about it. Tell them to stay away from it.

pa-Pierre
