Habib,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Needless to say I've never been too
tickled about the idea of me becoming a List manager. You gotta see the
irony in that (hehehe!). I don't pretend to be an expert on public
relations; and giving my past run-ins with the Gambia-L tribunal, it would
be circumspect to assume that the name George Sarr is an iceberg waiting
for a Titanic for some List managers. But where is the binding significance
in that, considering what I may bring to the table? Diddly-squat!

As I write, I have a script (a form I designed) that registered G_L members
can use to send postings to the L without the need to clog their inboxes.
Infact it allows one to send postings to the L without even having an e-
mail account. A dummy e-mail alias would do. All you need is online access anywhere you may be, and a browser.

Let me elaborate a little; say I use [log in to unmask] (as my dummy e-mail
address), and provided it is subscribed by List managers tp the G_L, I can
use this online form and send all my postings. Since this is a dummy e-
mail account, you won't be able to receive mails, but who needs to when
you have the G_L archives. Besides the whole idea behind this is to avoid
clogging your inbox. I don't know about you but I like to be able to send
and read from the archives than going through gazillion e-mails in one
ibox. You may inadvertently miss an important e-mail as a result of bulky
G_L e-mails cloggging your inbox daily.

Anyway, I would be more than willing to share this idea and others with our
List managers and let you members see if this something you want to adopt.
I don't mind sharing ideas at all. Lastly, I don't think other engagements
would allow me to become a full-time List manager on the L, but I'm here
to offer suggestions if anyone is willing to listen.

Btw, just out of curiosity, how does one become a List Manager On G_L? I
kinda sense some little cherry-picking here and there, archetypical of
many gambian organizations and APRC shenanigans. Oh well, it's just a
observation.

Yus, you should definately be a List manager. KB would be a good candidate
to keep them in check. And you Habib should be on top of that list. I like
Momodou Camara though. He is a good guy. He can stay. Jaiteh needs to
resign and go play golf..hehehe!

Cheers!

Yus

With all due respect the Gambia L is not a public owned nor a government institution . It is privately owned by these individuals so I think it may be in order.

I think both George sarr and You are probably the best ones to have been on board. ( my opinion)
