Habib:
Burkina Faso lost after tying the game then giving up a very cheap goal to
the Moroccans. I missed almost the entire first half, during which Morocco
led by 1 goal to 0.

The Burkinabes must be ruing their misses at this point for even though they
equalized with a pretty goal during the second half, they missed a handful of
chances which would have put them comfortably in the lead. They were also
denied by the woodwork when one of their strikers headed powerfully against
the crossbar. There was also an incredible series of misses during which
the Moroccan goalie had to literally fling himself twice at the feet of two
strikers to prevent them from scoring. Morocco did also miss a few great
chances, one of which hit the left goal post. But against the run of play,
the Moroccans scored the winner after their opponents were caught ball
watching. The Burkinabes are a side with a lot of experience but they
learned today that the World of top class soccer is a very unforgiving one.
In other words, teams that expect to do well should make the most of their
chances when they have them.

I guess Senegal Vs Zambia - a match-up which the former has never won -- is
up in 10 mins. But heed not this atrocious record, I think it is about to be
changed.
