This is a very sad story. If someone had told me that such was going on in the Gambia till now, I probably would have objected to it. I know of self choosen class when it comes to marriage that some of our people still use to choose who is marry to who, but this one really caught me off guard. Being a Brikama native and raised in the Upper Baddibu, I must say I have never heard of such.
One wonders why we are descrimanated by others then, Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Talking of getting along? God bless The Gambia.
