I agree with you totally that the dictatorship will do something fishy come
election time.  In researching military dictatorships, history would tell us
that dictators are replaced by other dictators so as to delay and deny
citizens the right to participate in political democracy.

I predict that the military will replace dictator yahya.  Those army boys can
no longer accept continuous unpopularity of dictator yahya.  They are now
convinced that yahya jemus has caused more pain than good to The Gambian
people.  They may even connive with the dictator to give him a secure heaven
with our money.
