I want to repost this excellent piece by Momodou Baldeh. Now that the  
presidential election is behind us, and the uncertainty of the political future  of 
the Gambian opposition in the coming parliamentary elections looms  largely, 
it is not farfetched that the Gambia is moving towards a One-Party  Dominant 
system.
