Dr nkurumah was right. our women are the real nation builders ,when they
are unempowered ,the nation building is retarded.
the issue of fgm is a very sensitive topic , and i have follwed the debate
very keenly.the method of the anti-fgm campaigners is some how clouded by
so many other agendas . an issue so important as fgm should be debated on
a platform of its own ,but campaigners like mrs amie bojand susoko have
created a huge controvercy from the begining ,so the overall progress took
a dangerous U-TURN .
in the question of religious leaders ,i believe that is the bigger battle
ground. i am willing to to start a project in creating the atmosphere for
religious leader accross the muslim world to healthly debate this topic.
through this i hope a break through can be gain to start the overhauling
of the practice for proper.
