Mr. Kanteh:
I hope this rumor is true. If Jemus wants to resign immediately, I have a
one way ticket for him.

Let us not get carried away because I think dictator yahya jemus will not
resign. His inner circle will not let him do so. People like Tombong and
the rest of his cabinet will make every necessary effort to persuade him to
stay. Remember that his sadistic and illegal government has offended
numerous Gambians that whenever jemus lives,
his cohorts will face hell every where in the world. Let us hope that a
transition to democracy after dictator jemus will not conceive another Sierra
Leone.

Our country has been transformed into a nation of captives by criminal yahya
and his agents. The Gambian people are suddenly been brutalized by a thug
who never thought that his mess would yield atrocities on innocent Gambian
students. We are no longer a nation of peace, but a nation of mourners who
are constantly asking ourselves "what is the hell wrong with this mad man."

Mrs. N'jai-Saidy, Mrs. N'dong-Jatta, Babacarr Badgie and Samdideen have lots
to say after dictator yahya jemus. I will condone any means of neutralizing
these thugs, whose words have caused more pain to the families of those
innocent Gambian students. It was out of character for anyone to defend the
slaughter of our future leaders. A prudent and wise person would have kept
their mouths shot and let the dictator defend his misdeeds. It was
unfortunate that Mrs. N'jai-Saidy acted in a senseless way and defended a
dictator whose days are numbered. This truly exemplifies that power blinds
some true and meaning people.

There is no excuse for dictator yahya jemus to defend the thugs in his army.
He must be reminded that he should take full responsibility for the events of
April 10th and 11th. He has realized that Gambians are unified in condemning
his atrocities. We cannot sit silent and let this mad man destroy our
country. Our basic principle should be for a united Gambia. Our personal
distaste for each other should be buried. Our goal should be "anybody, but
jammeh" (abj). Let us set aside our differences and embark on a journey that
will be fruitful for our country. Let us act as a united force against the
enemies of institutional democracy. Let us bring back our country to Sir
Dawda's days. Are we better off today, or were we better off during Sir
Dawda's days?

Long live democracy, and down with dictator yahya jemus. Dictator yahya
jemus, let my people go.

Comrade,

Muhammad Lamine Jassey-Conteh
