Ebrima,

You may appologize for publishing it on the L without permission. However
this posting made me wonder if the G-L will not be a good place to publish
the list of Gambians who have done important academic work which can be
referred to by Gambians and other who are interested. I think it is time for
Gambians to put our intellectual resource base together. I have noticed
that most bibliographies seem to be critics and support from familiar
circles and beyond.

For instance how many Gambians have done some academic work in different
fields that can be referred to? Quite a handful thiink. This does not mean
an opening for plagarism which I think all students are aware of.

Just a thought I wanted to share.

Have a good weekend,

Amie.
