Dave, you have a right to butt in and the answer to your question is no. I
am more interested in his recognition just like the other followers and
visiting his grave like all others should be in order. Your position seem
to suggest that he is the only follower that did not die in Medina. Please
advise. In addition, where were all the Prophet's followers buried? If the
answer to this question is that they are buried in same city or about where
the Prophet is buried, then my follow-up would be, did they die in that
city? If they did not die in Medina but are buried there, then why is Bilal
the exception? Do we know of any groups or nations that visit his grave? I
have never heard of Gambian pilgrims doing anything Bilal. If he was the
only descendant of a slave that was close to the prophet, then why are the
descendants of slaves that are muslims not recognizing him but just in
passing? Please enlightened me as I do not know where all others are
buried and where they died. Thanks for your assistance with my questions.
