Thanks for your mail. Sorry to disappoint you, but this is not my
write-up. I receive snippets of Hadith on my phone through a Daily
Hadith subscription. The subject line did say ''Fwd: Daily Hadith''
and the paragraph you are querying is clearly credited to Ibn Majah.
By reciting the following [shahadah]: ''ašhadu ʾanla ilāha illal-Lāh,
wa ʾašhadu ʾanna muḥammadan rasūlul-Lāh''. I accept to follow Allah's
directives through the Quran and examples provided through the life of
Prophet Muhammed(SAW) in Hadiths. I take those guided by Allah(SWT)
simply to mean those that follow teachings of the Quran and Hadiths.
We have the freedom to follow Allah'(SWT) guidance or do as we please
without inhibition. Allah(SWT) knows best.

I am not sure I fully understand your question above, especially the
context of reciprocate in the question, could you clarify please.
The first word Angel Gibril uttered to Prophet Muhammed(SAW) was
Iqra[learn]. We are encouraged to learn and share knowledge, however,
showing-off just to demonstrate how one has superior knowledge is
disgusting.
