It cannot possibly be a general water shortage because according to some
information I was given some time ago, Gambia is sitting on some of the best water
reserves in the World. Unless this information is wrong, there is no way we
have a water shortage. Perhaps it is a shortage based on lack of  funds which
has resulted in the lack of resources to make the water available. However,
perhaps the Geologists and others like Dr Malanding Jaiteh can shed some light
on water reserves in Gambia.
