YUS
IT SEEMS THAT THE MESSAGE SENT TO THE MILITARY AND THE POLICE BY CHONGAN
SOME DAYS AGO DIDNT GET THROUGH. SOME DAY AGO THE OPPSITION PRAISED THE
MILITARY FOR BEING NEUTRAL AND NOW THEY START SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLOURS. IT
IS VERY SAD IF THE MILITARY AN AGENT OF SOCIALISATION BEHAVES IN THIS
MANNER.
DURING THE TIME OF THE FIELD FORCE, THEY DISPERSE RIOTS AND UPRISINGS WITH
BATONS,TRUNCHEONS AND TEAR GAS EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD GUNS. THEY WERE WELL
RESPECTED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE GAMBIA USED TO BE BETTER OFF WITH THE
POLICE AND FIELD FORCE THAN THE PRESENT DAY MILITARY.

GOD BLESS THE GAMBIA AND PROTECT HER CITIZENS

>Subject: CONFIRMED, MAN AND WOMAN KILLED BY THE MILITARY
>Date: Wed, 17 Oct 2001 00:14:56 +0000
>
>Fellow Gambians i just returned from school when i made a phone call to the
>Gambia. It was shocking, sad, and disturbing to be told that someone i
>know,
>and a woman were being shot by the military and the man died on the spot.
>The woman was taken to RVH who was also believed to have died. I know this
>young man personally. He is called Ousman from Essau and he is a van driver
>on the Serrekunda-Banjul high way.
>
>I posted an article on Gambia-l today about these brutal killings in our
>country which was only known for its peaceful nature worldwide. But since
>these evil people took over power, killing people in broad day light
>becomes
>the order of the day, and the head of the gang, Yahya Jammeh will never
>show
>any remorse, but will continue to show his readiness to put more people to
>death.
>
>yahya Jammeh is worse, but let me say also that those supporting and
>defending him are the worst. How can any right thinking person, if you are
>not doomed, associate yourself with murderers and try to justify their evil
>deeds. If anybody thinks that you will gain something by pleasing an evil
>doer you will get your worst share of punishment with him here on this
>earth
>and in the next world. You people think that you will get away with your
>evil even on the Day of Judgement. God is all seeing and He will deliver
>His
>judgement on this faithful day accordingly. Doers and defenders of evil are
>all living for Hell.
>
>Anybody who is supporting and helping these people in any way, be
>physically, morally, or financially, should know that Yahya Jammeh cannot
>rule forever, and whether he is alive or dead truth will one day prevail.
