Jow, I second your nomination. As much as I tease him, this time I am
serious. He spent a fortune to come and serve his country and I could not
understand for my life why the powers that be at time treated him with such
disrespect. Being vocal with that bunch was meted with very nasty tactics,
as folks like Biri, Essa Fye, myself, and a few renegades encountered
numerous times. The greatest thing the Mafia did for me was to suspend me
indefinitely from divisional sports. I stand by my words, Coach Oberman did
not know diddle about coaching and he cost us the Zone II trophy. You
select your line up based on talent and not the buddy system. My boycott
of the squad earned me early retirement from the game but I did not regret
my stance one bit. Right is right, even if few people support it, and wrong
is wrong, even if most of the people support it. This tribute to Biri is
delayed, but nonetheless, fitting. The truth, no matter how long it's
buried, shall rise up and be acknowledged. There is hope after all.

Chi Jaama

Joe Sambou
