George,

You are absolutely correct,it is indeed my idea. What I am asking folks to
elaborate on is anyone with information on this issue to help send us to
the right direction and therefore have some kind a structure in place
pushing just ABSENTEE voting and nothing else, and still maintain thier
allegiance with APRC or NADD for that matter.

My objective is NOt for NADD or APRC alone to help make this happen. It
is my belief that is should be an effort from both camps including thosewho
are neutral. To answer your question about which camp i belong- I must say
that neither the APRC nor NADD.

I will mention to Youssou tonight when we speak that you are a big fan and
would like to see him around, but i think you will have to wait till
November 2005.

Regarding the funding by USAID, all I was told was that IEC had indicated
that thier is funding for this but the Gambia government has to endorse it,
and the agency I know will only proceed provided it is allowed by
government.

That is all I have an know for right now. By the way Fallou dieng & TITI
will be here on saturday, June 18th 2005 at club 20 Grand, you might want to
come check out Ascane nu Laobe bi.

Till then, good luck.

Ablie Njie-Lekbi
