I wish to thank all those who contributed in our book and stationery drive
that started earlier this year in Atlanta. I am pleased to announce that the
books and supplies will be shipping out of Rhode Island on the 14th of this
month - October. Along with the school supplies, we also hope to ship the 300
hospital bed sheets donated by Habib Jallow of Maryland.
For anyone that has more books or other items to donate, please ship it to my
home address [40 Victoria Street, Providence, RI 02909], where the container
will be loaded. If you have items that you wish to donate but cannot ship it
for one reason or another, please contact me by phone at 401-301-3060 so that
we can make arrangements to have them shipped.
Once again, on behalf of the organizing team [Ya Soffie Ceesay - Washington,
DC area, Sigga Jagne - Louisville, KY, Sainey Faye - Atlanta, and Yankuba
Njie - Ohio], I thank everyone for their support and hope that we can do it
